Our practice is led by Dr. Steven Scott, a highly experienced orthodontic specialist with a passion for helping people of all ages achieve their dream smiles. Dr. Scott has been practicing orthodontics since 1997 and has built a reputation for providing exceptional patient care and achieving outstanding results. He is a member of several professional associations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the National Dental Association, and the Sacramento Chapter of the National Dental Association.

Dr. Scott is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. Scott is not just a skilled orthodontist; he is also a dedicated member of the local community. He enjoys attending local rodeos, watching the California Golden Bears football and basketball teams, and riding his motorcycle through the beautiful back roads of the Central Valley.

Our Services

At Dr. Steve Scott Orthodontics, we offer a wide range of orthodontic services designed to meet the unique needs of our patients. Our services include:

• Traditional Braces: These are the most common type of orthodontic treatment. They consist of metal or ceramic brackets that are attached to the teeth and connected by wires. The wires are adjusted periodically to gently move the teeth into their desired positions.

• Clear Aligners: These are clear, removable trays that are custom-made to fit your teeth. They are worn for a specified amount of time each day and are replaced with new aligners as your teeth move into their desired positions.

• Retainers: After your orthodontic treatment is complete, retainers are used to keep your teeth in their new positions. We offer a variety of retainer options, including fixed retainers that are attached to the back of your teeth and removable retainers that can be taken out when eating or brushing your teeth.

• Orthognathic Surgery: In some cases, orthognathic surgery may be necessary to correct more severe issues with the alignment of the jaw. Dr. Scott works closely with oral surgeons to ensure that this treatment is as smooth and successful as possible.
