Located in Seekonk, Massachusetts, Knotty Pine Nursery School has been a trusted institution in the community for over 70 years. Founded in 1949, our school has been providing high-quality early childhood education to children from 2 years and 9 months to 6 years of age.

Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to provide opportunities for children to explore, learn, and grow through play and hands-on activities. Our programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and are aligned with state and national standards.
Programs and Services
We offer a range of programs and services to cater to the diverse needs of our students. Our programs include:
- Preschool Half-Day Program (3 hours, 4 hours, or 5 hours)
- School Day Preschool Program (7 hours)
- Full Day Preschool Program (8 1/2 hours)
- Summer Camp Program (9 weeks)
Enrollment and Admissions
At Knotty Pine Nursery School, we believe in a personalized approach to education. We take the time to get to know each child and their family, ensuring that we provide the best possible care and education. To enroll, please contact us to schedule a visitation and introduce your child to our warm and welcoming environment.
Admissions Process
Our admissions process is designed to ensure a smooth transition for your child. We begin accepting visits in January for the following September. During the visitation, you will have the opportunity to meet our teachers, explore our facilities, and get a sense of our unique approach to early childhood education.
Tuition and Payment
Our tuition rates are competitive and affordable. We offer a 15% discount for siblings enrolled in our programs. We accept payments on a monthly basis, with September's tuition due on August 1st and subsequent payments due on the first of each month.
Calendars and Vacations
Our school year begins in September and ends in mid-June. We follow the Seekonk School Calendar, with the exception of in-service days. We observe all Federal holidays and school is closed on those days. Our school vacations take place in December, February, and April.
Transition to School
We understand that transitioning from home to school can be challenging for young children. Our experienced teachers and staff are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that supports their growth and development.

Progress Reports and Parent Conferences
Twice a year, we issue progress reports that evaluate your child's development, socially, emotionally, and academically. We also offer parent conferences to discuss your child's progress and provide feedback.

We believe in celebrating the joys of childhood and provide opportunities for special programs and events throughout the year. These include holiday parties, field trips to local attractions, and special visitors to our school.
