At Wright Architects, we are committed to excellence in design and sustainability. With over 35 years of experience, our team of experts has been dedicated to creating luxurious residential and commercial projects that prioritize energy efficiency and sustainability. Our mission is to transform our buildings into carbon neutral, net zero, or even carbon positive structures by reducing or eliminating Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, and looking further into Scope 3 emissions to have a greater positive impact.

Our Story

Since our company was founded in 1986, we have been driven by a single idea: to build designs on behalf of our clients. We reject the traditional approach of hiring an architect, finding a contractor, and setting a fixed price. Instead, we offer a unique system based on hourly rates and flexible project phasing, allowing our clients to buy as much or as little of our services as they require.

Our Team

Our team consists of experienced professionals with a passion for innovative design and sustainability. Our president, Andrew Wright, is a certified Sustainable Building Advisor (CSBA) with a Master's in Architecture from Washington University and an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Iowa State University. Our senior project manager, Sonia Lemus-Wright, is a Green/Sustainable Design Expert with a Master of Business Administration in Sustainability and a Real Estate Investment Graduate Certificate. Our office manager, Joanne Kalb, has extensive experience in accounting and finance, and our building superintendent, Joe Hildenbrand, has management skills cultivated from his years at the Kingston Housing Authority.
