Glenn Johnston, Inc. was incorporated in 1987 by Glenn Johnston in McKeesport, PA. We are a heavy construction company based out of Western Pennsylvania. Our specialty is large scale sewer, storm, and waterline installation. Our expertise includes underground utility installation, site preparation, paving, and earth moving. We have a modern fleet of excavation and restoration equipment and fully capable personnel. Glenn Johnston, Inc. is licensed in Florida, West Virginia, and North and South Carolina. We have yearly sales volumes in the $16 million range. We possess a bonding line of $20 million single and $35 million aggregate. Our company was founded in 1987 and has been steadily engaged in the infrastructure and site development markets. In 2018 Glenn Johnston, Inc. became a certified Small Diverse Business (Woman Owned #9429) under the PAUCP and under the PADGS as well (#192732-2018-07-SB-W). We have taken part in a large number of environmentally progressive projects. We have done mine site remediation, sewerage discharge repair, treatment plant capacity upgrades, and landfill methane capture and transmission projects. We have worked with Chevron to close a high profile superfund site. We have also been called upon to clean up and complete projects in instances where the original contractors have failed. The Pennsylvania and West Virginia areas are very familiar to us. We have an extensive knowledge of the localities involved as well as a moderate collection of local contacts, developed over the years from working with various municipalities and local businesses. We have worked with state departments in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, and Ohio, all with positive outcomes for both our clients and the communities. Our company has a number of personnel trained in various specialties including project management, hazardous materials, specialty piping, restoration, and OSHA Compliance. We have been successfully operated under a number of safety programs

including Chevron/Shaw Environmental federal cleanup sites. All employees from the foreman level up have completed extensive communications training. Background checks and personal driving safety reports are standard practice for all employees.

Cara Johnston has been involved in Glenn Johnston, Inc. for most of her life. After having graduated from the University of Pittsburgh MBA program Cara returned to work with her father Glenn. Cara assumed the leadership of Glenn Johnston, Inc. upon Glenn's retirement in 2005. Cara is very involved in the estimating and assessment of projects and ensures that all operations are running smoothly.
