Roxboro Family Vision is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care services to individuals of all ages. Led by Dr. Miriam Lavelle-Sams, our team has been serving the community since 1987. We pride ourselves on offering a wide range of services, including 24-hour emergency care, complete and diabetic eye care, glaucoma management, and on-site optical lab services. Our Services

At Roxboro Family Vision, we understand the importance of personalized care. That's why we tailor our eye exams to meet the specific needs of each patient. From routine exams to complex cases, our experienced optometrist is equipped to manage various conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and cataracts. We also provide pre- and post-operative care for LASIK and cataract surgery. In addition, our on-site optical lab allows us to craft custom eyewear and lenses on the premises.

Advanced Equipment

We are proud to have invested in the latest technology, including an autorefractor for objective measurements, a modern clear chart for acuity testing, OCT for non-invasive retinal imaging, and a Santinelli edger for precise lens cutting. Our high-tech exam room is equipped with a Visual Field Machine, which can detect and monitor neurological conditions like glaucoma, ensuring the most accurate diagnoses possible.

Eye Wear & Lenses

Our collection of frames and lenses is designed to meet the diverse needs of our patients. We offer a wide variety of name-brand frames, including Oakley, Wiley X, Fossil, and many more. For lenses, we have single vision, bifocals, and progressive bifocal lenses available. Additionally, we provide a range of contact lenses, including toric lenses and multi-focal lenses.
