Our History

Our story began in 1957 when three brothers, Thurston Joseph Bland and his two brothers, started constructing underground utilities throughout Central Texas. Joe Bland, one of the founders, joined the company in 1965 and worked his way up to become the President and CEO in 1979. Under his leadership, the company continued to grow and expand its services.

In 1989, Joe Bland closed the original company, and in 1996, he founded Joe Bland Construction, L.P. With over 20 years of experience, we have built a reputation for integrity, commitment, and exceptional construction services.
