At KinderStop, we're passionate about providing a safe, clean, imaginative, and engaging environment for children while affording their parents, families, or guardians a much-needed break. Our flexible child care solution is designed to meet the needs of busy families in the Leland, Wilmington, and greater Brunswick areas.

Our Story

We're Liz, Jessica, and Lisa, three moms and long-time residents of Leland, NC, who founded KinderStop out of our own desire for high-quality, flexible child care in the greater Leland community. Between the three of us, we are mothers to 8 young children, so we know how challenging it can be to balance the ever-changing demands of work, school, family, and home. We opened our first KinderStop drop-in child care facility in January 2019 at The Villages of Waterford (Leland, NC), and we've worked tirelessly to make it the best it can be for your kids - and for ours, too!

Our Services

We offer a range of services to meet the needs of families in our community, including:

• Hourly "drop-in" child care for children aged 1 to 12 years old
• After school programs designed to provide a fun and engaging environment for kids
• Summer camps and school holiday programs to keep kids active and entertained
• Birthday party packages and special events to create unforgettable memories
• Stay and play opportunities for kids to have fun while parents run errands or simply relax

Our Facilities and Staff

Our facility in Leland, NC, is designed to be bright, clean, and imaginative, with specially designed spaces to accommodate the needs of children with sensory challenges. Our staff is highly trained and professional, first aid/CPR certified, and loves working with children. We're committed to providing a positive, nurturing experience for every child who walks through our doors.
