Welcome to Wellington Herbs & Spices, where we are passionate about providing high-quality herbs, spices, teas, and more to our community. Our journey began in 1999 when we, Carolyn and Frederick Wellington, retired from our careers in Health Insurance Marketing and Higher Education. We decided to leave the city life behind and move to the beautiful Catskill Mountain Region of New York State. Our 45-acre farm, with its certified-organic fields, offers a breathtaking view of the Schoharie Valley. We are not just a business; we are a destination where you can experience the beauty of nature and the charm of our elegant tea room, where light lunches are served daily.

Our Services and Products

At Wellington Herbs & Spices, we offer a wide range of services and products designed to meet all your needs. From our certified-organic fields, we grow several of the herbs and spices we sell. For those we don't grow, we exercise great care in selecting the finest quality from around the world. Our store is fully stocked with garden supplies, collectibles, imported teas, and tea accessories, herb and spice products, dried flowers, and antiques. You can also enjoy our delicious Island Tea and Carolyn's famous gooey butter cake, prepared fresh on-site every day. We are committed to quality and ensure that all our products meet the highest standards.

Curbside Pickup and Other Locations

We currently offer curbside pickup at our location at 649 Rickard Hill Road in Schoharie. If you're unable to visit us here, you can also find our products at several locations, including Barber's Farm, SUNY Cobleskill Carriage House, Capital Roots, Niskayuna Co-op grocery store, and Schenectady Trading Company.

Special Events and Promotions

We are excited to announce our participation in the Schoharie Promotional Association's Beverages on the Bridge event from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at the Fox Creek Park covered bridge in Schoharie. We will also be holding a shop sale and barn/garage sale, with dates to be determined.
