Paradise Funeral Home and Cremation Service is a pillar of the Pine Bluff and Monticello, Arkansas communities, dedicated to providing compassionate care to families during their most difficult times. Founded on the dream of Mr. J. Morrill Gray, the funeral home has grown from humble beginnings to become a trusted provider of funeral and cremation services.

As a young boy, Mr. Gray's interest in funeral services began when he started collecting matchbox cars and holding funeral services for them. This childhood pastime blossomed into a lifelong passion, and at the age of 7, he knew that he wanted to own and operate his own funeral business. With the support and guidance of Mrs. Billie Jean "BJ" Jackson, Mr. Gray was given the opportunity to work in the funeral industry, where he learned the importance of treating each family with compassion, understanding, and dignity, regardless of their financial circumstances.

After many years of honing his skills and building his expertise, Mr. Gray realized his dream of opening Paradise Funeral Home and Cremation Service in December 2015. The funeral home's first location, at 612 West 5th Ave. Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was the realization of a lifetime of hard work and dedication.
