Our History

Avail Engineering traces its family roots back to 1950, when Gerry Brey and his brother-in-law Frank Stone started Electroarts, a neon sign company in Chicago, IL. In 1959, Gerry started Brey Electric in Beaumont, CA, where his son Mac Brey received his initial technical training. Mac Brey, a USC graduate, founded Avail Engineering with the vision of continual improvement and innovation. Today, Avail Engineering has grown into a technically advanced company, committed to sustainability and leadership.
