Our History

Our roots can be traced back over 50 years to 1964 when Dr. Lawrence Nelson, our founding father, returned home after medical school to start a family practice on Hamner Avenue. From those humble beginnings, he grew into a larger office with multiple providers. Eventually, Dr. Lawrence Nelson retired and was succeeded by his son, Dr. Robert Nelson. Over the years, Citrus Valley Medical Associates has evolved, with multiple offices, doctors, and caregivers. Through this growth, our goals have remained unchanged: to help our patients live long and live healthy. We believe we are part of this community, and this community is, and always will be, a part of us.

Our Services

At Citrus Valley Medical Group, we offer a wide range of services to cater to the diverse needs of our patients. Our team of doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants provide primary care, specialty, and urgent care services. Our specialties include cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology. We have offices located throughout the Inland Empire, including Corona, Norco, Eastvale, and Riverside. We also offer after-hours care through our urgent care services and virtual appointments.

Our offices are easily accessible, with ample parking and a friendly staff to guide you through your visit. Our facilities are designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients.

Patient Information

At Citrus Valley Medical Group, we strive to make your experience with us as smooth and convenient as possible. We have patient registration forms that you can print and complete before your appointment. We also offer a patient portal, UpDox, where you can review your upcoming appointments, test results, and communicate with your doctor's office electronically.

Urgent Care

We understand that sometimes medical needs arise unexpectedly. That's why we offer urgent care services, including in-person and virtual appointments. Our facility is conveniently located near Corona Regional Medical Center and is open to serve your after-hours care needs.

65+ Senior Care

We are committed to serving our senior patients and their caregivers. Our Coordinated Care Clinic (CCC) offers comprehensive care, helping seniors navigate the complexities of the healthcare system.
