Our History
Our veterinary history was started by J. Porter Coble, DVM in 1941 when he opened Coble Animal Hospital. Now, Dr. Franklin Coble and five other veterinarians continue to bring award-winning service to the Springfield area for pet care. We have two convenient locations, including Sangamon Avenue Veterinary Clinic, which was added in 1985.

We offer a range of services, including dental care, vaccinations, spay and neuter, and luxury pet boarding. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology, including digital radiography, ultrasound equipment, and laser technology. We also have a fully stocked pharmacy and a complete on-site laboratory, enabling us to get valuable diagnostic information quickly and start treatment promptly.
