At Active Learning, we are dedicated to fostering emotional and physical wellbeing by inspiring children and their caregivers through educational, engaging, and impactful arts enrichment. Our mission is to provide students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels with the opportunity to learn, develop self-confidence, and find their passion through the magic of arts education.

Our Services

Active Learning offers a wide range of services that cater to different age groups and interests. Our DJ Programs are designed in partnership with dancemusicintiative.org to provide students with excellent education and services in DJing. For our After School Programs, we offer daily and weekly programs in musical theatre, dance, and art education for elementary, intermediate, and high schools. We have proudly delivered these services since 2003 as an enrichment provider of After-School Education for K-8 with SAUSD.

In addition to our After School Programs, we also provide Parent Education. Our daily and weekly programs focus on physical activities, fitness, and fundamental nutrition education. These programs aim to educate parents on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and encourage their children to do the same.

For our younger students, we offer Elementary School Programs. These programs include hourly, daily, and weekly assemblies and field days in dance, yoga, PE, and musical theatre. We concentrate on efforts to ensure high-quality, personalized learning and instruction. Our dance curriculum is divided into different classes based on the CA Dance, Performing Arts & Health Standards integrated with the Common Core State Standards. This ensures that the appropriate developmental level for each grade is met and implemented through our structured classes. Each hands-on learning class encompasses the development of English-Language skills as well as providing opportunities for children to explore, create, and innovate their ideas through movement.

Community Impact

Since 1999, Active Learning has partnered with school districts and community-based organizations to implement arts enrichment, education, health, and happiness throughout California. As a flourishing partner with Orange County school districts and Community Organizations, Active Learning has been fortunate to bring our mission to life, serving children, families, and teachers each year. We have served over 5000 students yearly, partnered with 63 schools in 20 districts, and produced thousands of productions since 1999.
