At PSRBB Industrial Group, Inc., we are a diverse team of experts who have been providing architectural services for over 21 years. We are equipped to exceed our client's expectations and have a deep understanding of the design and construction challenges facing our community today. Our team includes 2 registered architects and a Degreed/Non-Registered Civil Engineer. This dynamic team of professionals is supported on the Industrial Group side by a staff of 5 architectural interns, CADD specialists, and administrative staff. Our team will serve as an experienced asset to your team.

Design Philosophy

We are a team of leaders, people who can deliver a powerful design philosophy built on the principle, 'ideas and buildings honor the broader goals of society.' It is a principle that PSRBB founders established years ago. It is what we believed then, and what we still believe today. Most importantly, our design philosophy distinguishes between buildings that are merely built, and those that are lived in.

With those ideals in mind, our firm has made a commitment to advancing the way the world designs, erects, and uses its buildings. In the end, however, everything is rooted in a fundamental belief that great architecture is less a matter of pure style than of function, need, and context. If there is a common denominator in every design, it is this: A building can only be great when it is designed to assist its users, please its neighbor, suit its context, serve its community, and, perhaps most importantly, create a unique sense of place.

That is, as they say, a mighty tall order, an order clearly and ably filled by PSRBB Industrial Group, Inc.

History

The architectural firm, now known as PSRBB Architects, Inc., was founded in July of 1989 by H. Thomas Prestidge. Mr. Prestidge had previously provided design services to many industrial clients and decided to develop a firm specializing in industrial architecture. Over the next twelve years, the firm grew and continued to specialize in industrial as well as commercial and educational projects.

In September of 1989, Charles "Mike" Smith joined the firm to expand the focus of the firm to include commercial design services. The addition of Tommy J. Razloznik in 1990, whose specialty is educational and institutional design, further diversified the firm's design services, thus the firm took on its new name, PSR Architects, Inc.

PSR Architects, Inc. joined forces with the architectural practice of Barajas and Bustamante in July of 1998 to become Prestidge Smith Razloznik Barajas Bustamante Architects, Inc. (PSRBB, Inc.). Although Mr. Barajas' departure took place in April of 2003, the firm's name remained PSRBB. In March of 2009, Mike Smith retired from the firm to pursue his passion, "Golf."
