Our team has a combined experience level totaling more than 200 years in the plumbing industry. Our Company History

CWR has a long, rich history of representing premier brands in the plumbing industry. The Wingard Corporation was established by Lester Wingard in Fort Worth, TX in 1942, beginning a legacy of long-lasting relationships with manufacturers, plumbing wholesalers, contractors, and builders. Throughout the 1940's, The Wingard Corporation began building core partnerships with premier plumbing manufacturers, including Bemis Manufacturing and General Pipe Cleaners, two lines we continue to proudly represent today.

In 1986, Mike Ray joined The Wingard Corp. Mike had completed his formal education from Texas A&M University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial distribution, and served thirteen years in the Texas Army National Guard. A year later, founder Lester Wingard passed away, and Mike Ray became the President of the company. Under Mike's leadership, the company continued to grow and expand, adding new manufacturers and territories.

In 1999, Mike Ray was elected as the President of the Plumbing Wholesalers' Association. This marked a significant milestone in our company's history, as it highlighted our commitment to the plumbing industry and our dedication to serving our manufacturers and distributors.
