Who We Are

Hicks Architectural Group is a Chicago-based firm bringing over 40 years of technical experience and award-winning design to the local community. Our firm, led by Illinois licensed architect William Hicks, is committed to providing top-notch design solutions that maximize value and unlock hidden potential in every project. We specialize in rethinking and refining designs for existing structures, as well as designing from the ground up, with a deep understanding of context, construction, feasibility, and budget. Our team consists of experienced architects with numerous design awards and LEED AP credentials, ensuring technically designed solutions grounded in expert knowledge.

William Hicks, a co-founder of the Edgewater-Uptown Builders Association (EUBA), is an experienced professional with over 40 years of experience in building technology. He has been a longtime member of the American Arbitration Association's (AAA) Panel of Construction Arbitrators, and the Association of Licensed Architects (ALA). After receiving his Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago with an emphasis in Building Technology, Bill began his career at Yosh Nakazawa and Associates before leading the production of construction drawings and supervising the construction of several high-rise residential towers for Gordon and Levin Architects.
