Our History

Founded in 1981 in Boston's Back Bay, Grassi Design Group initially grew to a 27-person firm in the mid-Eighties, earning a strong reputation for residential development, commercial, and resort work. However, we decided to scale down to a smaller firm to focus on high-end, quality-driven work and ensure that Guy Grassi personally manages all projects. This approach has allowed us to maintain our commitment to quality and responsiveness to our clients' needs.

Over the years, we have successfully completed numerous projects in Boston's Back Bay and beyond, demonstrating our versatility and adaptability. Meet Our Principal Architect - Guy Grassi

Guy Grassi serves as the project manager from idea to building in every project. Through attentive discussion with the client, he reacts to the unique conditions of every project and forms them into a harmonic design. Educated at the Boston Architectural College, where he has served as a faculty member, and Lehigh University, Guy has been practicing in Boston and beyond since 1974. He is accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and has received licensure in the six New England states as well as New York, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Idaho, South Carolina, and Colorado.

Guy's dedication to his craft and his commitment to delivering high-quality work have made him a respected figure in the architectural industry. His ability to understand and address the unique needs of each client has earned him a reputation for exceptional service and unparalleled results.
