Our History
Gennaro (Jerry) Lombardi, April 11, 1952 - July 4, 2017, was the founder and proud owner of Metro Air Products. Jerry was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1952. He was the first in his family to attend college and graduated from The University of Buffalo with a Mechanical Engineering degree. Upon graduating Jerry worked in the Buffalo Forge plant from 1974-1977. From 1977 to 1990 he joined a manufacturing representative team. In 1991 Jerry went on to be the founder and proud owner of Metro Air Products. Jerry is recognized as one of the best innovative problem solvers in the industry with regards to fans and was happy to mentor all those who worked with him. He took great pride in helping Engineers and Customers find the best solutions to fit their needs. Jerry was a true friend to all who knew him and to say he will be missed is an understatement.
