Main Barber

Main Barber was born from owner Julie Hatcher's desire to create a men's-only, classic but modern barber shop / hangout in downtown Half Moon Bay. As the owner of Main Street Hair Design, which continues to thrive just down the street, Julie feels Like men deserve their own space - with the cool, hip vibe of a man cave. The business offers a wide range of services including CLEAN men's cuts, fades, tapers, pompadours, hard parts, and hot towel shaves. The barbers are trained to deliver exceptional results using quality products such as Baxter of California and Layrite.

Services

At Main Barber, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional services to our clients. Our services include buzz cuts starting at $40, buzz cuts with a taper at $45, fades at $45, all scissor cuts at $45, beard trims starting at $20, and beard trims with a straight razor line up at $25. We also offer a hot towel straight razor shave at $40 and men's facials at $35. To make your experience even more enjoyable, we offer a complimentary shampoo and conditioner with every haircut before or after your service.

COVID-19 Update

We are now open and taking precautions to protect our clients and team. Our barbershop has been cleaned from top to bottom before opening, and all surfaces will be continuously sanitized throughout the day. Barbers are required to wear masks, and clients are also required to wear masks while in our shops. We have staggered staff hours to practice social distancing, and we will not be serving any drinks or allowing food and beverages into the shop. Please wait outside in your car and text or call the front desk and/or your barber to let them know you have arrived.
