About Robert J. Lence

Principal Architect Robert J. Lence, a registered architect in Florida since 1992, brings over two decades of experience to every project. Holding a Bachelor of Architecture degree with Honors, Robert has honed his skills through the design and construction documentation of hundreds of residential and commercial projects throughout the state. His experience in Miami during the early 1990s involved extensive post-Hurricane Andrew structural evaluations, granting him a deep familiarity with local codes that heavily influenced the development of the Florida Building Code.

Driven by a passion for structural design and historic preservation, Robert has contributed to the restoration of several noteworthy buildings in Miami's South Beach and Coral Gables, as well as Tampa's Ybor City. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Architects, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and he is a VA approved plans certifier. Robert's fluency in both English and Spanish further enhances our ability to serve a diverse clientele.

• Pre-design Services: This phase involves in-depth consultations with our clients to understand their vision, goals, and budget. We conduct thorough research of applicable building codes and zoning regulations, perform site analysis, assess feasibility, and develop as-built plans for existing structures. Variance applications are also addressed as needed.

• Design Services: Building on the foundation laid during the pre-design phase, we create compelling design solutions tailored to each project's unique context. Our services encompass site planning, architectural design for both residential and commercial projects, master planning of multi-use developments, new construction on open lots, building additions and renovations, interior space planning, tenant improvements, and the preservation and restoration of historic structures.
• Construction Administration: We provide comprehensive support throughout the construction process, including assistance with bidding and estimating, project management, and construction supervision. Our team diligently reviews construction shop drawings, collaborates with general contractors, facilitates fast-track project development, and conducts post-occupancy evaluations to ensure client satisfaction.
