Projects
At Harrison Mulhern Architects, we are proud of the work we have done and the relationships we have built with our clients. Here are a few of our recent projects:
- Winchester Boat Club, Winchester, MA: The Winchester Boat Club needed to renovate their waterfront facility to meet accessibility requirements. We worked with the Club to develop a design that not only met those requirements but also improved the functionality and aesthetics of the facility. The renovation included a gut renovation of the century-old building, the addition of a second-floor deck, and the addition of insulation and heat to extend the active season.
- Waterfront Renovation, Winchester, MA: This waterfront home had good bones but needed updating. We did a full interior renovation that updated systems and finishes throughout the home. We also added a few small additions to make room for an eat-in kitchen and expanded family room, both taking advantage of the water views. A new deck and stair connected the newly improved spaces to the site and the water.
- LSNE Contract Manufacturing, Bedford, NH: LSNE needed to build out a vacant building on a tight schedule to keep up with the growth of their business. We worked with them to develop a design that included ground floor lab areas, offices, secure records storage, break areas, conference rooms, and a GMP warehouse. The project was completed on time and met all of LSNE's needs.
- 175 North Avenue, Wakefield, MA: This new mixed-use building contains 60 residential units, a large restaurant, a shop, and a fitness center. The building is located steps from the commuter rail station in Wakefield, MA, and includes parking for 114 cars on grade and under the building. A planted private courtyard at the second level provides shared outdoor living space as well as private patios for the abutting units.
