Great Expectations Preschool offers a unique and enriching educational experience for young learners in Arlington, Massachusetts. Founded in 1985, our school thrives on fostering a love for learning through play-based exploration and individual discovery.

Our Philosophy

Our Curriculum

Inspired by the innate curiosity of young learners, our curriculum offers a playful blend of activities exploring art, nature, science, sensory materials, cooking, music, dramatics, and early literacy and mathematics. This play-based learning approach encourages exploration, fosters social skills, and enhances cognitive development.

Our team of experienced and passionate educators has been dedicated to nurturing young minds for over 18 years. With deep knowledge of child development and a true love for learning, our teachers create a warm and supportive classroom environment where children can flourish.

Our Journey

From humble beginnings in a cozy classroom to our current spacious facility, Great Expectations Preschool has evolved over the years. Today, we provide a nurturing environment for 56 young learners, guided by 11 dedicated educators.
