At CEC Custom Electrical Contractors, Inc., we are a medium-sized contractor that specializes in commercial and industrial electrical construction and maintenance services. Our company was founded in 1978 as a small residential-commercial electrical contractor, and over the years, we have grown to become a reliable and experienced electrical contractor serving the Metro Denver area and the Front Range of Colorado, from Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs.

Our team of skilled professionals has been with us for an average of twelve years, which has led to the stability of our company and long-term relationships with our clients. We have a fleet of service vehicles that can be dispatched 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring that we are always available to meet your electrical needs.

Meet Our Team

Our team is led by President Sam Silverthorn, who is a third-generation electrician. Sam started with CEC as a warehouse helper in November of 1999 and has worked his way up to become the president of the company. Vice-President Nick Pepping III also has a strong background in the electrical industry, having started with the company in 2001 as an apprentice electrician and later pursuing a career in building water and waste water treatment plants before returning to CEC in 2017.

Cherie Lamarine has been with the company since 2003, starting as a receptionist and now acting as the office manager. She handles all A/P, A/R, H/R, and payroll, and she says the best part of her job is the daily laughs she shares with her coworkers.

Edwin Narciso started with CEC as an apprentice electrician in 2014 and has since become a Licensed Journeyman Electrician. He has also obtained his Fire Alarm Installer/Tech Journeyman's License through The City of Denver and is currently training as a project manager.

Zach Onorato was hired by CEC as an apprentice in 2013 and has gained extensive knowledge and experience in commercial tenant finish, remodel, and ground-up builds. He completed his IECRM schooling and passed his Colorado state Journeyman's License exam on the same day. He then expanded his knowledge and skills in the electrical trade and completed his Master Electrician exam. In 2021, he moved to the position of project manager.
