Red River Dance Theatre Company is the only non-profit organization in Central Louisiana dedicated to developing and promoting classical ballet for youth. The company provides supplemental dance training for area dancers twice a month and gives dancers the opportunity to perform for the community and schools several times a year. Its mission is to provide family entertainment, train young dancers, and enrich arts education in local schools. The company is widely recognized for its annual production of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker and other ballets, including Peter and the Wolf, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, and Hansel and Gretel.
