Gull Rock Pottery is a small, family-owned business located on the beautiful Downeast coast of Maine. We specialize in creating handmade functional stoneware pottery, including bowls, kitchen pieces, lamps, miscellaneous items, mugs, and pitchers. Our studio is set amidst a breathtaking view of Cadillac Mountain and Mount Desert Island across Frenchman Bay. We take great pride in our work, using traditional techniques to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. Each piece is carefully hand-decorated and fired in a gas kiln to 2400°F, ensuring oven-proof and dishwasher-safe quality. We offer a variety of designs, including our signature blue and white brush designs, as well as limited edition and custom ordered pieces. Our studio is open to visitors, and we offer guided tours and demonstrations. Visitors can also browse our on-site gallery and shop for unique gifts or treats.
