Hartland Cooperative Nursery School is an affordable, publicly funded Pre-K that provides nurturing, developmentally focused early childhood education. We offer a tight-knit school community for parents and their children, with a curriculum that fosters a love of learning, social-emotional skill building, and play-based learning. Our program is designed for children ages 3 and up, with half-day classes and a focus on individualized, developmentally appropriate learning. We also offer nature-based play, Vermont Institute of Natural Science lessons, local library story time visits, and parent/community involvement. With a cooperative model, we rely on our families to run some of the logistics of our program, and offer options for parents to be classroom volunteers and participate in community events.
