Pixie Hill Preschool is a non-profit preschool serving Mercer Island, Seattle, and Bellevue since 1958. Our mission is to blend the joy of play with the power of learning. We offer two programs, Tadpoles for 2.5-4 year olds and Frogs for 4-5 year olds, with a focus on social skills, literacy, math, science and social studies. Our team of college-educated teachers integrates play-based exploration with structured learning, providing a unique vision that combines the best practices of early childhood education. We prioritize competitive pay for our valued teachers and require all of them to have completed a college degree. As a result, we are grateful to maintain high teacher retention rates.
