At Mindful Identity Counseling, I provide a safe space to explore recovery and healing from Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Eating Disorders. My approach focuses on creating a trusting therapeutic relationship to empower clients to feel safe, secure, and able to learn to soothe and regulate their emotions. With a supportive and non-judgmental environment, clients can develop a new language to enhance their understanding of their identity, needs, and navigate their life in ways that serve them. I use Attachment theory, Trauma-focused CBT, Mindful Self-Compassion, Meditation, and Shame Resilience tools to guide clients towards new behaviors for a new sense of calm regulation and increased mindful awareness. As a licensed counselor, I have been fortunate to have worked with many amazing individuals and been a part of their journey of becoming themselves. I am driven to help others feel less alone and more empowered in their lives, their identity, and their relationships.
