My Fitness Journey

Growing up, I was shy and not athletic at all. I preferred to lose myself in my favorite books or sewing projects rather than spending time on physical activities. However, during my sophomore year of college, I decided to try a workout DVD, and it was life-changing. I discovered a new sense of power and confidence through movement and exercise. This experience sparked a passion for fitness that has only grown stronger over the years. As I continued on my fitness journey, I became more aware of the body-positive movement and its importance in the fitness industry. I realized that the focus on weight loss was not only unhealthy but also damaging. Instead, I believed that we should be motivated by positivity and empowerment. This philosophy is at the heart of Fangirl Fitness.
