Education Plus

Education Plus Health is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the holistic development of underserved students by addressing both their healthcare and educational needs. Established in Pennsylvania in 2009, our mission is to empower young people to reach their full potential by providing comprehensive support from early childhood through adolescence and young adulthood.

School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs)

We establish and operate school-based health centers in collaboration with local schools, providing primary care services to students. Our licensed nurse practitioners diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries, ensuring that students can focus on learning in a healthy state.

Afterschool Programming

Recognizing the importance of holistic development, we offer afterschool programs that combine academic enrichment with social and emotional learning. These programs help students improve their academic performance, develop essential life skills, and socialize with peers.

Accelerated Associate's Degrees

In partnership with Diversified Community Services, we provide an accelerated associate's degree program for motivated students who seek to pursue higher education. This program offers a pathway to pursue further academic opportunities.

Community Engagement

We believe in fostering partnerships to address the broader community's needs. We collaborate with various organizations to provide advocacy platforms, raise awareness, and advocate for policies that support school-based healthcare.

Our Impact

Over the past several years, Education Plus Health has served over 7,000 students in 15 schools. Our programs have led to significant improvements in academic performance, health outcomes, and overall student well-being.
