Hoboken Pilates empowers individuals to achieve confident and efficient movement through personalized Pilates training. We strive to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where clients can discover and strengthen their core, improve posture, and alleviate pain.

Our Founder: Amy Valent-Ribot

Amy's journey to Pilates began with a deep-seated love for dance. Her extensive studies in the Argentine Tango, Alexander Technique, and yoga sparked an insatiable curiosity about movement and its profound impact on well-being. This curiosity led her to discover Pilates, which effectively improved her dance technique while alleviating a minor scoliosis. Driven by a desire to empower others to achieve enhanced movement and physical awareness, Amy completed her Pilates certification at the renowned Kane School of Core Integration.

Our Approach

At Hoboken Pilates, we believe in a holistic approach to fitness that emphasizes proper alignment, core strength, and mindful movement. Each session is tailored to meet individual needs, taking into account unique limitations and goals. We utilize a diverse range of Pilates equipment, including the reformer, Cadillac, chair, and barrel, alongside mindful mat exercises to create a well-rounded workout.
