Since our humble beginnings, we have grown into a $30 million/year general contractor with offices in multiple states and a staff of more than 40 construction professionals.

Our project Managers, Superintendents, Quality Control Managers, Safety Managers, Engineers, and Project Administrators will ensure quality results, while closely monitoring your project budget and schedule.

We also offer federal procurement services as a certified Woman, Minority owned small business by the Small Business Administration. We can assist federal clients in meeting their Total Small Business and Woman Owned Small Business goals. Through our joint venture with Sentinel Fence and Contracting, we are able to provide a wider range of services and expertise to our clients.

History of AAK

The journey of Au' Authum Ki began in the early 1990s, when Margaret Rodriguez founded the company with a small bonding capacity of just $30,000. Despite the challenges she faced as a Native American woman in the construction industry, Margaret's determination and perseverance led to the company's growth and success. By 2002, AAK was generating more than $12 million a year in business.

In the 2010s, AAK continued to expand and grow, becoming a $30 million/year general contractor with offices in multiple states and a staff of more than 40 construction professionals. Today, we are recognized as one of the top ten largest Arizona companies in the categories of minority-owned business, woman-owned, and Native American owned business.
