FBA, Inc. is a leading structural engineering firm headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area. With a strong presence in California, our team has served local and national clients for decades. Our comprehensive range of services includes structural design, evaluation, and repair of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood framed structures.

Our History

Established in 1995 by Florian Barth, PE, and Walid Naja, SE, FBA has built a reputation as a trusted partner in structural design and engineered demolition. With a long history of working with some of the most renowned developers and consultants in the industry, our team has designed and engineered numerous large-scale projects, including post-tensioned podium and parking structures throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California.

Our Leadership

Our leadership team consists of experienced structural engineers, each with their own unique strengths and areas of expertise. Chris Bane, S.E., Principal, brings over 26 years of comprehensive structural engineering and project management experience. Jennifer Cassity, P.E., Principal, has over 26 years of expertise in post-tensioned concrete and structural design. Amir Kazemi, P.E., Associate Principal, joined the FBA management team in 1997 and has been instrumental in establishing the company as a leading structural engineering and engineered demolition firm. Walid Naja, S.E., Principal Emeritus, helped found the company and has played a key role in shaping its reputation.
