We offer a personalized 3-Step Fitness Training Process, which includes a health history and functional assessment, improving your movement platform and fundamental movement ability, and developing integrated functional fitness, particularly focusing on the lower body. Our goal is to help you reach your personal physical goals while improving your functional capacity for movement and elevating your physical reserves and resilience.

With over 37 years of experience, we are Santa Barbara's most experienced fitness trainer. Our trainer, Jim, has earned 3 specialty certifications in older adult fitness and 2 additional internationally recognized certifications in general training and physical conditioning. We have a deep understanding of the aging body and are committed to helping you achieve positive changes in your physical life.

Our Philosophy

We believe that fitness should be about moving well and then moving often. Our approach is centered around establishing a sound movement platform, which includes joint mobility and stability, muscle flexibility, balance, and neuromuscular control. By focusing on these fundamentals, we can develop strength, power, and endurance in a safe and effective manner.
