Customer Service Issues
Several reviewers expressed frustration with the customer service at Quick Smog Check Ctr. Steve Glass reported being charged $95 for a smog check despite the service engine soon light being on, and then being told he needed to come back for a retest within 30 days without being informed of this requirement. He also felt that the staff was unhelpful and unapologetic. Anne Arjani and Marisa Franz also reported poor customer service, with surly attitudes and a lack of helpfulness from the staff.
Pricing Concerns
Some reviewers felt that the pricing at Quick Smog Check Ctr was too high. Ed Qan complained that the prices seemed arbitrary and based on how the owner liked or disliked the customer. Phuong Vu Official - Cuoc Song M. felt ripped off by the $40 oil change price and reported that the staff did not refill the windshield wiper fluid as requested. Stuart Keith was unhappy about being told he would have to pay the full amount to retest after the retest slip was lost.
Positive Experiences
Many reviewers had positive experiences at Quick Smog Check Ctr. Eben Bedford, Larry Ponciano, Kasumi Umakisp, Annette Purdy, Luis Pena, Antares Normando Montfort, and Toro Creek all reported friendly and efficient service, with some noting that the pricing was better than at other smog check locations.
Issues with Smog Checks
Brian Carrozza reported that the results of his smog check looked strange, with his vehicle failing at low rpm but passing at 2500 rpm. Anne Arjani reported that the staff did not provide helpful advice on how to reset her car's computer after it failed the smog check.
