Kiddie Kingdom Country Child Care has been a staple in the Xenia, OH community since 1974, providing safe, convenient, and affordable child care services to families. Located at 1075 Jasper Rd, we are a family-style early childhood center that operates in a country setting. Our daily child care program is designed to cater to children aged six weeks to 11 years old, and we offer both full-time and part-time care from 5:45 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.

At Kiddie Kingdom, we pride ourselves on providing a home away from home for your child. Our center is designed to provide a country home atmosphere, complete with large fenced play areas and a separate yard for toddlers. We have a small group size and high staff ratios, ensuring that your child receives the attention and care they deserve. Our experienced and friendly teachers are dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and growth.

Our daily preschool classes are included in full-day care or available separately and are designed to prepare your child for kindergarten and grade school. We work on a paper or art project every day, followed by a story and a song, and provide a nutritious snack and supervised free play. We believe that this approach provides the right balance between structured learning and free exploration, getting your child ready for more formal classes.

In addition to our regular child care and preschool programs, we also offer before and after-school care, including transportation to and from Xenia Schools. Our complete summer program is packed with outdoor activities, providing your child with a fun and engaging way to spend their summer break.

At Kiddie Kingdom, we understand that quality child care should be accessible to everyone. That's why we keep our rates as low as possible and accept daycare assistance from area Departments of Job and Family Services. We provide nutritious meals in conjunction with the Child and Adult Care Food Program, ensuring that your child receives the nourishment they need to grow and thrive.

Our History

Kiddie Kingdom Country Child Care was founded in 1974 by Alan King, who saw a need for a preschool in the country that could provide living space on the second floor. After several months of hunting, he found a reasonable priced farmhouse on 2 1/2 acres of land and made an offer. Today, Alan and his wife Karen are still operating a family-style daycare center from the lower floor of their expanded and renovated 1900's farmhouse. The 2 1/2 acres are now split between playgrounds, playfields, and a one acre woods with 35-year-old walnuts and pines.

At Kiddie Kingdom, we still strive to provide the kind of care that we would want for our own children or grandchildren. We are small enough to know each child personally, and we care about the kids and try to be a good partner in educating them. We encourage exploration, art, and freedom of expression while insisting on good manners and good behavior.
