At Rosewood Learning Center, we are committed to providing top-notch childcare and early educational experiences for children in Jamestown, Ohio. As a Christian-based program, we have been serving the community since 1992, and we pride ourselves on our ability to provide a quality preschool program that prepares children for kindergarten.

Our History

Formerly known as Teddy Bear Preschool, we have been meeting the educational needs of preschool children for over 25 years. We have expanded our services to meet the needs of families in Jamestown, offering quality extended childcare, before and after school care, tutoring services, and a summer program. Our goal is to provide a family-like atmosphere and an excellent learning environment for all children enrolled in our center.

Our Program

Our program offers a wide variety of activities and learning experiences. We use a Christian curriculum that is phonetic-based with a Montessori approach to hands-on learning. Our curriculum includes Bible, Music, Art, Phonics, Math, Language Development, Science, Social Studies, Creative Writing, and Movement. We understand that each child has individual personality and learning style, and we strive to make their learning experience both fun and exciting.

Our staff is CPR/First Aid certified, and we maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio to ensure that each child receives the attention they need.
