Hollis Preschool

Located in the heart of Hollis, New Hampshire, Hollis Preschool has been providing a quality early childhood educational program to families in Hollis and its surrounding towns for over 65 years. As a non-profit, non-sectarian organization, we are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters the growth and development of young children.

Our Philosophy

At Hollis Preschool, we believe in the importance of a "child-centered", "play-based learning" approach to education. We recognize that each child is unique and special, with their own strengths and interests. Our philosophy is based on the premise that children learn best through play, exploration, and hands-on experience. Our teachers act as intentional planners, observers, and guides, creating a stimulating and engaging environment that nurtures each child's cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Our Programs

Our programs are designed to meet the individual needs of each child, from our core programs to our additional programs. Our core programs include our preschool program for three- and four-year-olds and our kindergarten program for five-year-olds. Our additional programs include our summer camps, special events, and community partnerships. At Hollis Preschool, we believe in giving children the tools they need to succeed in life, and our programs are designed to support their growth and development.

Our Teachers

Our teachers are passionate about helping children grow and succeed. All of our lead teachers have a background in early childhood education and have years of continuing education in various specialties. Our assistants are community parents or substitute teachers who are dedicated to providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Our Space

Our school is located in a beautiful, stand-alone building that is designed specifically for early childhood education. Our classrooms are designed to be engaging, stimulating, and safe, with large windows, natural light, and plenty of space for children to play and learn.

Our Board of Directors

Our board of directors is made up of dedicated parents and community members who are committed to the mission of Hollis Preschool. They oversee the daily operations of the school, its future development, and its endeavors.
