The Children's Garden Preschool was established in 2004 as a home preschool designed to nurture and protect the magic of early childhood through a nature and play-based Waldorf inspired curriculum. Our preschool provides young children with a warm and nurturing first step away from home, filled with outdoor play, natural crafts, bread baking, imaginative play, storytelling, songs, and seasonal celebrations. We strive to create an environment and opportunities for parents to find community and support one another in their parenting adventures. The preschool serves children aged 2 1/2 to 5 years old, with options for 2, 3, and 4-day programs. Our school is located in Southwest Durham and includes a large outdoor playground, garden, woods, swings, and sandbox.
