Our History
Best Insurance Consultants, LTD, formerly known as Best Realty, was founded in 1952 by Steve & Beatrice Huska. The agency operated out of a small office on the Northwest side of Chicago. As the real estate business grew, they discovered more and more first-time clients needing assistance with their insurance questions. This inspired Steve Huska to add insurance products to the agency to help make home buying easier. As time went by, because of their consultative approach to assisting with insurance, it was no surprise that the insurance side of the business grew rapidly. Clients began to rely on the Huska's when they had questions and Steve and Bernie were always available to help. That culture of providing assistance in a client-first, friendly family environment was true then and still reigns true today.

Unreliable and Unhelpful Insurance Agent
Negative Experiences
The majority of reviewers had extremely negative experiences with Bob Huska, an insurance agent at Best Insurance Consultants. They describe him as lazy, condescending, and lacking knowledge about insurance coverage. According to them, he failed to provide adequate assistance and guidance, especially during a time of crisis when they needed him most.
Lack of Care and Concern
Cassandra Lewis and Mark Lewis, who had their truck totaled in an accident, were extremely dissatisfied with Bob's lack of effort to help them navigate the situation. They felt that he didn't care about their well-being and was only concerned with taking their money.
Inadequate Coverage and Communication
Bob failed to inform them about an option to add coverage that would have provided a higher payout in the event of a total loss. He was unresponsive to their emails and phone calls, and when they did manage to get in touch with him, he rarely had answers to their questions.
Positive Exception
On a more positive note, Linda Fougerousse has had a long-standing and satisfactory experience with Bob Huska, stating that he has been her agent for over 30 years and has always been available when needed.
