Our Story
Our journey began in 2016, when our founder, Lauren Kershner, discovered her true passion in the culinary arts. She studied French technique at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy and went on to work in some of Napa Valley's best restaurants, including Morimoto Napa and Calistoga Ranch. Lauren's love for quaint Glen Ellen and her desire to celebrate others, including local farmers and cultures, led her to found Goodness Gracious Catering.
Today, Lauren leads a team of culinary and hospitality experts dedicated to delivering exceptional services that connect people with the authentic version of Wine Country. Our team is comprised of experienced professionals who share a passion for authentic, locally sourced food and a commitment to sustainability.

As the founder of Goodness Gracious, Lauren is a passionate chef and entrepreneur with a true love for the culinary arts. With experience working in some of Napa Valley's top restaurants, Lauren brings a unique perspective to the world of private chef and catering services.
Brandy Ceremony-Avina | General Manager
As our General Manager, Brandy has over 15 years of experience in the food service industry. She's a formally trained dietician and has honed her culinary skills working under several talented chefs and restaurateurs. Brandy's commitment to sustainability, both in production and everyday business practices, is a driving force behind our operations.
