Building the best Mexican food one plate at a time.

Los Ocampo Mexican Restaurant is a renowned establishment that has been serving authentic Mexican cuisine to the Twin Cities for many years. Our recipes and spices have been passed down through generations, and we are committed to providing our customers with a truly authentic Mexican dining experience. Our menu is diverse and extensive, and we are confident that there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Our Food

At Los Ocampo, we take pride in making everything from scratch. We believe that the best meals start with the freshest ingredients, and that's why we make all of our dishes in-house. From our homemade rice and beans to our famous masa cakes, every bite is packed with flavor and authenticity.

One of our most popular dishes is our huarachazo, a traditional Mexican dish made with hand-pressed masa cake, refried beans, queso fresco, lettuce, onions, cilantro, avocado, and your choice of meat or vegetables. Our tacos are another crowd favorite, with options ranging from classic carne asada and al pastor to vegetarian-friendly sauteed veggies. We also offer a variety of burritos, quesadillas, and soups that are sure to satisfy.

Specials and Drinks

We believe that every meal should be a celebration, which is why we offer daily specials and happy hour deals. From $4 rail drinks and $5 classic margaritas to $6 or more off appetizers, we have something for everyone. We also offer a range of flavored Mexican waters and $7 classic cocktails to help wash down your meal.

Special Events and Catering

In addition to our dine-in and takeout services, we also offer catering options for special events. Whether you're hosting a birthday party, wedding, or corporate event, we can provide you with a range of authentic Mexican dishes to suit your needs. Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic situation, we have temporarily suspended our fully catered and staffed events. However, we are excited to focus on our food truck business, which is an excellent option for outdoor events.

Our Locations

We have three locations in the Twin Cities, each with its unique atmosphere and charm. Our Suburban location is perfect for a family dinner or a night out with friends, while our University location is conveniently located near the University of Minnesota campus. We are also excited to announce that we will soon be opening a new location on Marshall Avenue in Saint Paul.

In conclusion, Los Ocampo Mexican Restaurant is more than just a place to eat. We are a community of food lovers who are passionate about providing authentic Mexican cuisine to the Twin Cities. Whether you're in the mood for tacos, burritos, or something in between, we invite you to come and experience the flavors and traditions of Mexico at Los Ocampo.
