Dr. Jose M. Garcia earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Fredonia State of New York in 1983. He went on to receive his DDS degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, in 1988. Since then, he has been practicing dentistry for over 21 years, with 18 of those years right here in St. Petersburg. Dr. Garcia has worked for several dental centers in St. Petersburg before opening his own practice in 1994. He belongs to several dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Implantology Association, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Association, Pinellas County Dental Association, Association of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Garcia is married to Ann Garcia, a software engineer, and they have three daughters, Gabi, Isabel, and Elena. In his free time, Dr. Garcia enjoys inshore and offshore fishing. He was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at his alma mater SUNY Fredonia in 1999 for his exceptional soccer skills.
