Our team is led by Principals Josephine "B" DeFrancis, Proprietor, Jessica Bauer, Executive Chef/Partner, and Michael Guadagno, Chef de Cuisine. With over 50 years of combined experience in the food and beverage industry, our team has honed their skills in some of the top restaurants in the country.
Our Culinary Team
Our culinary team is led by Executive Chef Jessica Bauer, who has spent years refining her craft in some of the top restaurants in the country. With a focus on using sustainable, organic, and local ingredients, our chefs strive to create dishes that are not only delicious but also responsible. Our culinary team is committed to innovation and creativity, always seeking new ways to push the boundaries of culinary excellence.
Our Management Team
Our management team is comprised of highly experienced professionals who have spent years in the food and beverage industry. Our General Manager, Michael "Mick" Doherty, has over 20 years of experience in various roles, from pantry cook to assistant food and beverage manager. Our Assistant General Manager, Rob Zgonc, has over 20 years of experience in the industry, including opening and training staff at Morton's of Chicago and The Pittsburgh Fish Market. Our Director of Private Dining and Events, Christine Charles, has extensive experience in managing private events and catering operations.

Dining Experience at Altius
Food and Drinks
The food at Altius is a highlight, with many reviewers raving about the dishes they ordered. The charcuterie board, crab toast, and sun-dried tomato dipping sauce were particular favorites. The steak, halibut, and seafood dishes were also praised. However, some reviewers mentioned that their main courses were "meh" and lacked flavor.
