Your Peace of Mind is Our Priority

Our Story

At Actors Co-op, we are a community of artists passionate about staging stories that inspire, educate, and entertain. Founded in 1987, our company has grown from a small group of actors with a shared vision to a robust organization with over 50 members, spanning across different backgrounds and disciplines. Our journey began with a dozen actors who shared a dream of creating something new and innovative in the world of theater.

Our Mission

As a company of Christian actors, we are driven by our passion for the Lord Jesus Christ. Our mission is to pursue the highest standards of theatrical excellence while building up our members spiritually, personally, and professionally. We believe that every person is fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, and we strive to be an outreach of Christ's hope. We aim to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued, regardless of their background or identity.

Our Services

At Actors Co-op, we offer a range of services aimed at enhancing the world of theater and supporting local artists. Our main stage productions feature a diverse range of plays and musicals, incorporating the talents of our members and guest artists. We also produce Second Stage productions, which provide a platform for new and emerging playwrights and directors to showcase their work. Additionally, we host staged readings of original works and have implemented the Michael Riney Internship Program, which provides young artists with valuable hands-on training in the theater industry.

Our Facilities

Our main theater, the 99-seat Equity-approved Crossley Theatre, has undergone significant renovations to provide a state-of-the-art performance space. Our second theater, the David Schall Theatre, is designed for more intimate productions. Both theaters are equipped with the latest technology and amenities, ensuring an exceptional experience for our audiences.

Our Community

As a company, we prioritize building a community that values collaboration, inclusivity, and creativity. We strive to create an environment where our members can grow professionally and personally, while also being a source of inspiration and support to one another.

Supporting Us

At Actors Co-op, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to continue our mission. Your tax-deductible donation helps us produce high-quality productions, develop new works, and provide opportunities for emerging artists. We invite you to join our community of supporters and help us shape the future of theater in Hollywood.
