Our Story

Founded in 2010 by President Joe Ardieta, a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, Vanguard Engineering has grown to become a reputable and respected civil engineering firm in the region. Our team boasts a diverse range of expertise, from residential to commercial and industrial projects, and from municipal developments to site planning and engineering. With a strong focus on customer service, we strive to build long-lasting relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Our Services

At Vanguard Engineering, we offer a comprehensive range of services, including:

• Site Planning and Engineering: We design and engineer sites, including grading, underground utility design, roads, parking lots, sidewalks, trails, landscaping, site lighting, and cost estimating.
• Construction Administration: We provide site construction administration and project management services, including project meetings, change order negotiation, and payment applications.
• Municipal Development Consulting: We review proposed development projects for municipal Planning and Zoning Boards, including drawings, engineering reports, SWPPPs, SEQR, and zoning compliance.
• Vehicular and Pedestrian Access Design: We design roads, culverts, and bridges for private clients, municipalities, and Monroe County.
• Hydrologic and Open-channel Hydraulic Analysis: We provide drainage analysis, storm water facility design, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) reports, floodplain analysis, and FEMA floodplain revision permits.
• Flex Space Building Design: We design masonry block or prefab buildings, teaming with a select group of architects and contractors to create functional and innovative spaces.

Our Team

Our team of experienced engineers, led by President Joe Ardieta, is dedicated to delivering exceptional services to our clients. With a combined 50 years of experience, our team has designed sites ranging from single-family homes to 500-lot residential subdivisions and from small commercial projects to 300-acre industrial complexes. We work closely with institutions, local, regional, and New York State agencies on municipal projects, from small businesses to national clients on commercial and residential projects.
