Your Fit Mom is a unique fitness training program designed specifically for new and expecting mothers. Our mission is to help you achieve strong pregnancies, smoother labors, and faster recoveries through safe and effective workouts.

Our program is based on the understanding that many women aren't sure what is best and safe to do when it comes to moving their pregnant bodies. Some women, out of fear, choose to do nothing, which is a huge disservice to themselves and their unborn babies. Many people will tell you "Do whatever feels good", or that you shouldn't let your heart rate go above a certain number, but that's where most programs fall short.

We aim to dispel common misconceptions about working out during pregnancy and provide you with a set of tools that you can use anytime, anywhere. With minimal equipment and zero experience necessary, we are dedicated to keeping you moving and getting strong all the way up to your baby's birth day, and beyond.

Meet Kayla: The Founder of Your Fit Mom

Hi, I'm Kayla, the founder of Your Fit Mom! My passion for health and fitness began after I decided to make a change in college. After learning "smarter" ways of working out, rather than "harder, " and learning more about nutrition, I lost 30 pounds.

I moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career in fitness. I began as a Personal Trainer at Equinox in West Hollywood, CA, where I was hired to train celebrities, gained numerous certifications, competed and won my first Bikini Competition, and participated in a Triathlon. After a few years, I took my experience and moved back East to be closer to family.

As a specialist and pre & postnatal exercise geek, I have dived in and done extensive research on how working out affects the mom and growing baby. I have interviewed doctors, nutritionists, and moms to understand the effects of working out on pregnancy fully. After trying all the programs out there, I've finally created a tried and true pre & postnatal training program that is safe, effective, and enjoyable.

I have experienced both C-section and VBAC deliveries, so I can relate to everything you're going through and help you prepare and recover from both. As a mom of two, I understand the importance of staying fit and strong throughout pregnancy and motherhood.

At Your Fit Mom, we offer a range of services designed to help you achieve your fitness goals during and after pregnancy.

  • In-Person Training: Our in-person training sessions are tailored to your specific needs and designed to help you build strength through pregnancy, prepare for labor and recovery, and heal your core and pelvic floor.
  • Virtual Training: Our virtual training sessions offer the flexibility of working out from the comfort of your own home while still receiving personalized guidance and support from a personal trainer.
  • Beyond The Bump: Our Beyond The Bump program is designed to help you recover and heal after giving birth. This program includes safe and effective workouts, guidance and support from a personal trainer, and a community of pre and postnatal resources and other moms who can help support you every step of the way.
  • In-Person Small Group Training: Our In-Person Small Group Training is an intimate small group setting with a maximum of 9 other women, led by our founder, Kayla Mehr. These sessions are held in Westwood, MA, and offer safe and effective workouts, personalized support, accountability, and guidance from a personal trainer.
