Wine Country Day Preschool is a family-owned private preschool that has been offering high-quality early childhood education in the Napa Valley since 1982. Our mission is to provide personalized education that will inspire each child's unique potential and desire for lifelong learning through a strong academic, social, and environmental curriculum.

At Wine Country Day Preschool, we believe that children learn best through firsthand experiences. Our curriculum is designed to encourage intellectual growth, problem-solving skills, and creativity, while fostering physical coordination, imaginative play, and a love of learning. We believe that children learn and grow best in a supportive, loving, and nurturing environment, where they are encouraged by caring adults who observe and learn alongside them.
Programs
Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each child, from our 2-year-old GREEN Preschool Class to our Pre-Kindergarten Class. Our curriculum is based on current best practices in early childhood education and is designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Our Classes
- GREEN Preschool Class: For 2-year-olds, this classroom focuses on introducing new experiences, languages, numbers, seriation, classification, spatial representation, and time. We encourage independence while providing supportive guidance.
- BLUE Preschool Class: For 3-4 year-olds, this classroom builds on the educational foundation established in our GREEN classroom, introducing more advanced learning in language, math, science, art, and outdoor play.
- Pre-Kindergarten Class: For 4-year-olds, this classroom prepares children for kindergarten through literacy, math, science, and art, while teaching problem-solving skills and independence.
