At Valley Community Counseling Clinic, we are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, teenagers, and children in the San Fernando Valley. Our team of exceptionally trained therapists treats a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, addictions, and more.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide in-depth therapeutic services to support lasting growth and change. As a non-profit, we are able to offer these services on a sliding scale, making high-quality psychotherapy accessible to those who may not have the ability to pay for expensive private practice treatment. We are committed to providing excellent training to those pursuing a mental health license, offering pre and post-doctoral internships for psychology, MFT, and MSW interns.

Our clinic is staffed by a small administrative team and a dedicated group of exceptional trainee therapists. Our Team
Our team is led by our exceptional directors, Dr. Callae Walcott-Rounds and Dr. Goni Bissell. Dr. Walcott-Rounds has over 25 years of experience in private practice, supervising, and teaching, and enjoys helping others grow and develop in meaningful ways. Dr. Bissell is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with a background in Fine Art and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.
What We Offer
At Valley Community Counseling Clinic, we offer a range of services, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions. We also provide training programs for mental health professionals, including pre and post-doctoral internships. Overview of Valley Community Counseling Center
The Valley Community Counseling Center, located within a college, offers therapy services with student therapists who are fulfilling their service hours to graduate. While they may take a longer time to respond, their services are affordable, and their unique approach has its advantages.
Therapeutic Approach
The center's therapists work under the direct supervision of clinically licensed therapists, ensuring that all sessions are reviewed and feedback is provided to the student therapists. This setup allows for a unique learning experience for the student therapists while maintaining a high level of quality care for clients.
Confidentiality and Waiver
Clients are required to sign a waiver, allowing sessions to be recorded for protection purposes. This measure is in place to ensure the client's protection and maintain confidentiality.
