Our Philosophy: Focusing on the Whole Child
At Magic Years Nursery School, we believe that each child is unique and capable of great things. Our differentiated curriculum, delivered through small group instruction, supports and challenges every child's development. In our warm, caring, safe, and secure environment, we focus on the whole child, making sure that each one thrives socially, cognitively, emotionally, and physically. Our consistent and structured daily schedule helps build confidence, while our thoughtful approach fosters a nurturing environment where students can play, learn, and grow.
Health & Safety: Keeping Your Child Safe
The safety of your child is our top priority. All doors are locked at 9:30, and we are a peanut- and tree nut-free campus. Our staff members are CPR and First Aid certified and renewed every two years. We follow the guidelines put in place by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for your child.

Rooms: Diverse Learning Environments
Our learning environments are designed to provide diverse and stimulating experiences for your child.
- Three Year Old Classes: Our three year old program helps build the foundation for friendships and social skills, such as working together and taking turns. Positive relationships formed through warm, sensitive, and responsive care help children feel valued and gain more from their learning experiences.
- Four Year Old Class: Our four year old program offers a wide variety of activities to prepare your child for a successful entry into our pre-kindergarten. The curriculum is designed to challenge, stimulate, and nurture each child by providing a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and materials.
- Pre-K: The pre-Kindergarten room contains many possibilities for complex activities and group play. Science and cooking projects focus children on basic principles of the natural world and allow discovery and experimentation. Pre-reading skills such as learning letter and number names and sounds are emphasized.
Our Approach: Learning Through Play and Hands-On Activity
Children learn best when presented with new and stimulating experiences. At Magic Years, students spend their days navigating a balanced curriculum, rich in meaningful play and structured small-group learning. We believe that children learn through play and hands-on activity; if given exposure to age-appropriate academics, they will acquire skills and confidence important to their success in preschool, kindergarten and beyond.
